Current Volunteer Opportunities
Home Delivery Service
The Home Outreach Service Volunteer picks up new materials at the library and delivers them to homes and retirement residences in the community; and then returns the previous months’ materials to the library one Thursday each month.
Time required: Deliveries typically take 45 minutes -1 ½ hours.
Schedule: Second Thursday every month
- valid driver’s license
- proof of valid insurance
- police background check
- friendly personality
We are also looking for volunteers in the following areas:
- Community gardens
- Friends of the library
- Coffee shop
- Tech tutors

Volunteer training is provided and all new volunteers with the Library will be required to complete Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) and Integrated Accessibility Standard Regulations (IASR) training as well as a training and general orientation session.
